Klyn Co., Ltd. was founded in August 15, 2012 in Kimpo, Korea. Prior to its foundation, the development of the Jellyspon™ took 3 years since 2009: (1) development of the right formula for making this sponge the only sponge 100% organic without preservatives, (2) and making it the “world first” weak acidic (PH 5.5) (3) making sure that this formula could be re-produced through mass production line. Klyn Co., Ltd. was awarded with HIT500 in 2013 by the Korean government which is given to Korean 500 small-medium sized companies only for their potential in growth and recognition of technology. We knew from the start of the global competition in this product category, and we made sure that our product could differentiate with all current sponges currently available. Jellyspon™ is a skin therapy massage puff by itself! KLYN has been assessed by International Certification Registrar Ltd., in respect of their Environmental Management System and found to comply with ISO 14001:2004 KLYN, Co. Ltd. support the Cruelty Free animal rights movement. We applied our product for the Leaping Bunny logo, but as our product is pure organic without any other materials such as clays, we could not get the logo. If we added clays and other ingredients, this would moves our JellySpon from being ‘vehicles’ to being ‘cosmetics’ under the Cruetly Free definition. As KLyn’s sponges aren’t infused with anything or have any chemicals added to it, were are not eligible for certification under the Leaping Bunny scheme.
